Let Stories In

Buoy

Phuong, as a child, loved hearing her má’s account of their journey as Vietnamese refugees. This book shares the brave and magical story of how her bá navigated a wooden boat across the South China Sea, and the meaningful outcomes of the epic voyage. Stories reign, and this is her favorite tale.  Buoy is her debut children’s book.

Buoy is available on most online book platforms. Please consider purchasing it from your local, independent bookstore. You can also get it from Bookshop.org. They donate 20% of all sales to local, independent book stores.
